It looks like the weather will permit us to enjoy another morning at the SOTJ market tomorrow. We’ll be selling our regular breakfast pizzas – the BYOBreakfast, the Fig and Pig, and of course the BAM, which sold out quickly last week.
If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy our second market stall yet, tomorrow will be an excellent time. We have been setting up shop underneath the covered area behind the Blanchards Coffee tent toward the rear of the market. It’s our way of making the process of getting to your pizza even easier – People who are interested in doughs, sauces, fresh mozzarella, pesto, and kits can find Kerry answering questions and giving out samples in the shade.
Meanwhile, those in need of more immediate satisfaction can find the rest of the Pizza Tonight crew (plus special guest star Brad Hemp) in our usual spot across from Fertile Crescent Farms and next to the Kettle Corn and Limeaides (Lucky Us!)
Lately I’ve had a few people tell me that they’re in a Pizza Rut – Red sauce, mozzarella, maybe a little pepperoni or bell peppers. These are fine toppings, but there are so many other options. When we create our menus, we find inspiration in the freshest local ingredients at the farmer’s market – the sungold tomatoes from Fertile Crescent Farm, the arugula from Victory Farms. We let the season and the mood dictate our menus, which is precisely why they change each week!
